¹ Your compensation is based on how much energy your battery provides when called upon. The battery may be called upon between 150 to 200 hours throughout the year primarily between 7-11 PM (although it could be other times) from 30 minutes up to 4 hours. The average customer payment is expected to be $1,000 annually based on 1,122 kWh of dispatch. If you have a loan, Sunnova will automatically apply the incentive towards your account. If you have a lease, you will receive an on-bill credit, if the account is current. Program incentives are considered taxable income and pursuant to Puerto Rico law, Sunnova is required to report income each year. You will be asked to provide Sunnova with information to complete Form 480.6A reporting in order to receive your incentive. Your battery will never be dispatched ahead of hurricanes or other severe weather events. Additionally, Sunnova will ensure you maintain at least 20% charge during these events, so that you are always prepared for an outage.
