If you financed your home solar system or Sunnova SunSafe® home solar + battery storage system with a loan/finance agreement, we cannot relocate your home solar system. Your options are those stated above: you may pay off the loan or transfer the agreement to the new homebuyer provided that he/she meets our credit requirements.
If you have a home solar system with a lease or a power purchase agreement (PPA), we will be happy to work with you to relocate the solar system to your new home, as long as your new home is within the same utility district. Relocation costs apply.
Please keep in mind that there are costs associated with this move and your home solar system design will changed based on the new roof. You may need to further modify your home solar system and the production estimates in your agreement based on the energy needs and shading of your new home.
